Ertan Hydropower Station

The Ertan Hydropower Station is located at the junction of Yanbian and Miyi counties in Panzhihua City, southwest Sichuan Province. Being the largest hydropower station built and put into operation in China in the 20th century, the Ertan Hydropower Station started construction in September 1991 and was completed in 2000. After 10 years of construction, it was completed. The 240-meter-high arch dam was the tallest in Asia at the time, and its installed capacity for power generation was 3.3 million kilowatts. World Bank credits were used in the Ertan Hydropower Station project, an 'international tender' was conducted fully in line with international standards, project construction management was conducted in accordance with the conditions of an internationally recognized FIDIC contract, and a 'corporate legal liability system' and 'project construction supervision system' were implemented for the first time in China. The 'tender system' and 'contract management system' and other modern management systems. The 'Dispute Resolution Board (DRB) System' was successfully implemented for the first time in the field of construction dispute resolution. The innovative and innovative management system of the Ertan Hydropower Station led Chinese construction management methods for hydropower projects to comply with international standards and became one of the first examples of projects built in accordance with modern Chinese corporate system standards. The electromechanical trade 'slanting cutting' method used in the project allowed the production level of water turbines in my country to rise from 320,000 kilowatts to 550,000 kilowatts, playing an important role in the development of the national industry. In November 2006, the Ertan Hydropower Station won the 6th 'Zhang Tianyu Civil Engineering Award'.

Jinping II Hydropower Station

The Jinping II Hydropower Station is located at the junction of Muli, Yan Yuan, and Myan Nan in the Lian Shan Prefecture and is the largest hydropower station on the Yalong River and the hydropower station with the largest installed capacity in Sichuan Province, except for the border river. All units were put into operation on November 29, 2014, with a total installed capacity of 4.8 million kilowatts (8x600,000 kilowatts). . Ahead of the Jinping II Hydropower Station dam gates.

The Jinping II Hydropower Station is a key strategic project of my country`s 'West-to-East Electricity Transmission' and plays an important role in promoting the development of the country`s western region and optimizing the energy supply structure. Among them, four main drainage tunnels pass through the Jinping River loop of the Yalong River with extremely complex geological conditions, with an average length of about 16.67 km and a development diameter of 12.4-13 m. This is the deepest and largest hydraulic tunnel. Serious disasters, such as strong mountain impacts, concentrated water flows of large volumes, and damage from seepage under high pressure, often occur due to the extremely high ground stress level at 100 MPa and high external water pressure at 10 MPa. It is also necessary to address the safety and stability issues of complex hydraulic transient processes inherent in extremely large derivative power stations. Technical difficulties in the world are rare.

Jinping I Hydropower Station, Level 1

Hydropower Station Jinping I is located in Yan Yuan and Muli Lianshan Yi Autonomous County of Sichuan Province and represents a controlled reservoir project in the lower reaches of the mainstream of the Yalong River (from Kala to Jiangkou).
